The 16-year-old model will star in the label’s new spring/summer 2011 brand images, which will appear in stores, billboards and on the fashion house’s website.
In the shots, Lindsey – who has appeared in campaigns for Versace – has her hair neatly woven into a lattice-like plait and wears a sleeveless printed dress with delicate scalloped edges, set against a backdrop of butterflies.That’s what Lee drummed in to me: you have to be able to stand behind your work
The campaign is the first one to have been directed by Sarah Burton, who took over as the label’s creative director following the tragic suicide of Alexander McQueen last February. read more »
Fashion Forward Winners Revealed
Christopher Kane, Erdem, Marios Schwab and Roksanda Ilincic have been revealed as the winners of this years Fashion Forward initiative.
The scheme by the British Fashion Council gives chosen designers the funding required to further their careers and put on a catwalk show during London Fashion Week.
“I am thrilled to have been awarded Fashion Forward sponsorship by the British Fashion Council, this is my fifth catwalk show at London Fashion Week and I am grateful to have their continued support,” said Christopher Kane to vogue. read more »
Britains Missing Top Model: Double Trouble as Lili and Debbie Get the Boot
Britain’s Missing Top Model saw a double elimination this week as both Lili and Debbie get sent home.
This week’s task was a 1950s-style lingerie shoot and most talked-about contestant is undoubtedly Lilli, whose photograph came in for some criticism from both Mark Summers and Lara Masters.
Mark upset the 20 year old deaf TV interpreter by pointing out that her pose made her looks like she is “carrying a few extra pounds”.

Jaime Pressly Sued By Fashion Designer
Jaime Pressly is being sued by a fashion designer who claims she was unfairly ditched from the actress’s clothing line.
Tami Smith is launching a law suit against the My Name is Earl over work she did on Jaime’s ‘J’aime’ line- for which she wasn’t paid correctly.
The papers were filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday (02June08), reports tmz. Smith claims she made a deal with Pressly to “represent and market” her line and spent “substantial devotion of time and effort” before her commissions were shelved by Jaime and her company. read more »
Lindsay Lohan Loses Contract to Hillary Swank
Lindsay Lohan may be about to lose a big ad campaign and Hilary Swank is set to replace her.
The troubled actress was the face of Jill Stuart last season but now the label’s owner is rumoured to be replacing her due to her tabloid antics.
Stuart has her eyes on using Hilary Swank for her next campaign according to media blogger Jeff Bercovici.
Hilary has a much safer image than Lindsay and appears to lead a quieter life away from the cameras which makes her more desirable for brand endorsement.

Keith Richards for Louis Vuitton
Keith Richards is the latest face of Louis Vuitton and appears in their new ad campaign.
The Rolling Stones rocker has been snapped by Annie Liebovitz for the French fashion house’s new campaign which will be seen around the world from April.
“The good thing about Keith is, he’s big just about everywhere,” said Antoine Arnault, Vuitton’s head of communications.
“He speaks to the 20-year-old who’s into rock ‘n’ roll and the 65-year-olds who went to [a Rolling Stones] concert when they were 20.”
In the pictures Keith is seen perched on a bed with a custom made Vuitton guitar case and wearing a Vuitton leather jacket that he picked out from the store a day earlier. read more »

Frost French and Lulu Guiness are among the latest celebrities to team up with (Product) Red campaign to fight AIDS in Africa.
(Love) Red is the Valentine’s day campaign by the brand set up by Bono and celebrities including Julia Roberts and Jane Packer are donating their talents to design unique limited edition Red products.
Julia Roberts has designed an Emporio Armani bracelet, Frost French have created heart design lingerie and fashionista Lulu Guiness has come up with a gorgeous red clutch bag in aid of the cause. read more »
Kate Moss in Myra Hindley Potrait
Artist Russell Young has used images of Kate Moss and ex partner Pete Doherty to depict the pair as notorious child murderers Myra Hindley and Ian Brady.
The pair’s faces were superimposed into the famous mugshots of the child-killers and then were printed onto canvases. They are believed to have been sold at the Bankrobber Gallery for Ј28,000.
Controversial artist, Young, said the images were the “ultimate picture, the perfect storm, a perfect combination of fame and shame.”
On his website it also said that he wanted to combine the worlds of celebrities and criminals – “to see how, and at what points that world and the underworld rub up against each other.”

Fashion East 2008 Talent Announced
Fashion East has announced that they will be supporting Louise Gray and Noki again this year along with newcomer David David.
The three talented young designers will be supported by the inititative founded by Lulu Kennedy as they create a new collection in time for September’s London Fashion Week.
Fashion East is now in it’s 16th season and has already nutured the talent of Richard Nicoll, Marios Schwab, Jonathan Saunders, Gareth Pugh, Roksanda Ilincic, Jens Laugesen and Emma Cook. The project will continue to be supported by TopShop and show at The Old Truman Brewery. read more »
Valentino on the Big Screen
Valentino is the latest designer to be the subject of a new documentary that will make its debut at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
Matt Tyrnauer, a correspondent for American Vanity Fair, has spent two years filming the design legend at work. There was over 250 hours of footage of Valentino and his entourage that had be to edited down for the documentary called Valentino:The Last Emperor.
Tyrnauer revealed, “We were let into the inner circle, but we had to stick it out for a long time – pratically move in – to capture the truly great moments. read more »
